African Natural Ground Melon is sourced from the finest melon seeds grown in Nigeria. Our Egusi is expertly extracted, hand peeled ensuring it is stone-free, clean, and finely ground by hand unlike Machine peeling that damages seeds and reduces the flavour.
Egusi easy to prepare into various Traditional soups like Egusi Elefo, Smooth Egusi Soup, etc and popularly eaten by Africans with Fufu, Semo, Eba, Pounded Yam, Rice etc
How To Prepare Egusi Soup:
Mix ground Egusi with a little water to form a paste, set aside.
Add into hot oil to fry (for lumpy) or add to soup base and protein and cook on medium heat.
Stir and season to your taste then add your preferred vegetable.
Allow to boil and enjoy with any swallow of choice
